Add location-awareness to your camera phone with PhotoFinder

What You Need to Start

  • NIM-certified GPS-enabled mobile phone.
  • PhotoFinder application downloaded over the air and installed on your mobile phone.
  • Web browser access and web account (optional).

Take A Photo

Take Photo screenSelect "Take a Photo" to snap a picture using your camera phone without exiting PhotoFinder. Use this to quickly add new pictures to your photo catalog. Once you take a picture, PhotoFinder shows you the full picture and automatically saves it for you. You can rename or erase any pictures at any time from within your photo catalog.

Gallery

Gallery screenSelect "Gallery" to view a visual catalog of all of your saved pictures. This allows you to visually locate a place you've visited before or a person you've seen before. Each picture is displayed with a name and the date and time the photo was taken. You can view more details about a photo by selecting the photo.

Maps, Nearby Places, and Directions

Maps screenPhotoFinder enables you to get to and from your photographed places easily. From any photo, or from the "Where Am I?" screen, you can select the menu to access features such as getting a map to the location where the photo was taken, or getting directions to that location.

Where Am I?

Where Am I screenFind out where you are located by selecting "Where Am I?" PhotoFinder will use your phone's GPS to locate your position and display your nearest address and other location information. Press the "Map" button to view a map of your location. You can also use the "Menu" button to use other features, such as "Find Nearby" to find other places and businesses near your current location.
