Networks In Motion Opens China Office
New NIM Office Expands Capability to Provide Global Engineering Support
ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Jan. 6, 2009
Networks In Motion (NIM), the award-winning wireless navigation, hyper-local search and location-based services (LBS) company with the largest mobile phone navigation subscriber base in North America, today announced that is has expanded its global operations by opening its first office in China.
“We are excited about the next chapter for Networks In Motion’s continued global expansion and the opportunities that our new China office will provide,” said Doug Antone, CEO and president of Networks In Motion. “By establishing an office within Asia, NIM is positioned tremendously to provide world-class engineering support to both our partners and customers well into the foreseeable future.”
NIM’s new office is located within the ASIA Technology Park of Tiajin, China. The 600 square-meter facility will serve as the company’s Asia operational hub and house more than 20 engineers.
The office makes it possible for NIM to provide its global customers with localized engineering resources and support.
