Position Description:

NIM seeks a senior-level Project Manager with strong experience in the mobile phone industry. You will work closely with mobile handset manufacturers (OEMs) and customers to plan, manage, and deliver complex advanced device projects with international scope. In this role, you will work with Development, QA, Product Management, and Business Development teams to ensure a smooth and seamless release of software products to customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

	Lead complex delivery of advanced device projects involving several client locations, possibly spanning multiple countries and multiple partners.
	Understand and monitor the OEM device development, certification, and release processes and the OEM device roadmaps. Ensure that NIM plans, develops and releases products in sync with the OEM roadmaps. Responsible for effective communications between OEMs and our cross-functional team.
	Participate in project status meetings involving customers and OEM partners. Run launch readiness meetings, identify launch gating items and drive them to resolution. Create and maintain technical project documentation internally and for external delivery, including weekly status reports, project plans, meeting summaries, project updates, etc.
	Anticipate problems, analyze risks, and provide creative solutions. Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate channels.
	Ensure customer acceptance of project in line with product/quality requirements, and realize high levels of client satisfaction.
	Develop and maintain strong OEM relationships in support of mutual business interests. Build positive relationships and trust over time through strong on-time delivery, high quality, continuous innovation, and by exceeding expectations.
	Domestic and International travel to OEM meetings, customer meetings, and conferences.

Qualifications:

Include, but are not limited to the following qualifications:

	5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a wireless handset manufacturing company. Ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and relevance to the marketplace.
	Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline.
	Superior communications and presentation skills. Must be able to communicate effectively to senior executives internally and externally.
	Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills. Able to develop and monitor technical project plans, identify critical milestones, and drive projects to success.
	Strong cross-functional team leadership skills. Excellent meeting management skills.
	Experience launching wireless application software/services a plus.
	Able to travel up to 25% of the time.
