Senior Project Manager – Wireless Carriers

NIM seeks a Senior Project Manager with strong experience with wireless carriers to manage customer and internal projects. You will work closely with the Development, QA, Product Management, and Sales teams to ensure a smooth and seamless release of software products to customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

	Lead complex delivery projects, involving several client locations and potentially multiple partners.
	As primary customer liaison from Engineering Dept., ensure effective communications with customers and our cross-functional team.
	Participate in project status meetings involving customers and partners. Run launch readiness meetings, identify launch gating items and drive them to resolution.
	Create and maintain technical project documentation internally and for external delivery, including weekly status reports, project plans, meeting summaries, project updates, etc.
	Anticipate problems, analyze risks, and provide creative solutions. Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate channels.
	Ensure customer acceptance of project in line with product/quality requirements, and realize high levels of client satisfaction.
	Develop and maintain strong customer relationships in support of mutual business interests.
	Build positive relationships and trust over time through strong on-time delivery, high quality, continuous innovation, and by exceeding expectations.
	Occasional travel to customer meetings and conferences.

Qualifications:

	5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a Software or Wireless company.
	Able to understand technical subjects & emerging technologies and their relevance to our marketplace.
	Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or technical discipline.
	Superior communications and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate to senior executives internally and externally.
	Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills. Able to develop and monitor technical project plans, identify critical milestones, and drive projects to success.
	Strong cross-functional team leadership skills. Excellent meeting management skills.
	Proven experience releasing software products to market successfully.
	Experience launching wireless application software/services a plus.
	Experience interfacing with mobile phone carriers preferred.
	PMP certification a plus.
	Able to travel up to 20% of the time.
