Position Summary:
NIM is looking for a Sales Engineer to support the Director of Sales and a major US wireless carrier.
 |
Coordinate efforts between internal resources, including product management, project management and development teams, to ensure timely and high-quality technicaldeliverables.. |
 |
Build strong customer relationships, support their requirements, and help to expand NIM services within existing customer accounts. Respond quickly to customer requests. |
 |
Communicate and interact with key customer accounts daily. Represent NIM Sales team at frequent customer meetings and conference calls. |
 |
Provide technical support in sales presentations and product demonstrations. |
 |
Interface with external partners and help gather resources to offer new applications and services to key customer accounts. |
 |
Support third party application opportunities and implementation. |
 |
Work closely with Director of Sales in support of new opportunities. |
 |
Represent NIM at industry conferences. |
 |
Provide delightful customer service. |
 |
Prepare reports and documentation as necessary. |
Qualifications:
 |
5 years experience in wireless systems and Sales support. |
 |
Understanding of wireless technologies including CDMA, GSM and upcoming 3&4G. |
 |
Location based services (LBS) knowledge a plus. |
 |
Strong knowledge of cellular and mobile application software markets preferred. |
 |
Superior communications skills in a customer support environment are essential. Must be able to represent NIM’s software solutions with confidence. |
 |
Excellent analytical skills and ability solve problems remotely. |
 |
Strong organizational skills and persistence in completing tasks on time. |
 |
Outstanding people skills and ability to work within a team. |
 |
Willing to travel and be on customer site when needed. Potentially up to 50% travel. |
 |
Technical degree or equivalent training required. (BSCS or BSEE preferred). |
