Software Engineers – New Graduates

Networks In Motion, Inc. (NIM) is the leader in wireless GPS navigation and local search applications for mobile phones and advanced devices.  Our exceptionally reliable platforms deliver location-based (LBS) information to people on the go – offering continuous access to local directories, driving directions, maps, traffic conditions, events and more.  The launch of Verizon’s VZ Navigator in 2006 marked the path of success as the industry’s #1 navigation app in the wireless space. Since then, NIM has developed products for all major US wireless carriers. We are also preparing to launch navigation applications in Europe.

We have outstanding career growth opportunities for NEW GRAD Computer Science majors.  We are seeking highly motivated and talented Software Engineers to contribute to the development of cutting edge wireless navigation consumer products.  Take ownership to help build our success and you will share the rewards.

You will have a direct impact on the design and development of our wireless navigation applications.  Working closely with Senior Engineers, you will quickly advance your programming skills and gain valuable experience.  You will work on coding, testing, analyzing issues, and developing solutions. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Training and proficiency in C/C++ or Java.
  • Experience with UNIX platform, Linux or Python helpful.
  • Strong interest in programming.
  • Knowledge of all phases of product development lifecycle.
  • Able to work creatively and analytically in a team and solution-oriented environment.
  • Able to effectively interface and interact with team members and related groups.
