Product Architect (multiple openings)

This is an outstanding opportunity with tremendous growth potential.  We need highly motivated engineers that thrive on creating and developing cutting-edge wireless applications.  You will have a significant, direct impact on the design and development of the company’s core products.   You will design innovative solutions to real customer and market problems.  You will design system/subsystem interaction models, call flows and user interfaces.  You will work with internal and external stakeholders to translate requirements and use cases into design specifications with a cohesive user experience.  You will work with visual designers to improve and refine product visual design and consistency.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a client/server development environment.
  • 2+ years experience in a development leadership role (team lead, manager or architect).
  • Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering.
  • Experience in location based services (LBS), mobile, or internet industries preferred.
  • Proficiency with Object-Oriented design methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-managed proactive work style.  Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.  Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Desire to engage in extremely challenging assignments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline.
