Quality Assurance Engineer (Server Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

Great opportunity in an exciting industry for an experienced QA Engineer to perform a wide range of complex testing assignments. Responsible for assuring that mobile navigation software applications meet design specifications. Involved in the full software development life cycle. Develop and execute test scripts. Create and document quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of QA procedures, principles, and tools.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in hands-on testing of commercial software applications with exposure to the full development cycle – from requirements through post-release.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience testing server applications including load and performance testing. Must have experience with UNIX and white box testing. Knowledge of Linux, Redhat, shell scripting, and/or SQL preferred.
  • Proven experience with automated and manual testing including regression, performance and functional testing.
  • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, accurate and thorough
  • Able to prioritize and complete concurrent projects.
  • Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
