Position Description:
The Director of Sales Operations will primarily be responsible for managing the customer priorities and communications internally at NIM’s headquarters. The Director must understand customers’ requirements and priorities and ensure the necessary communications and follow up occur to ensure customer expectations and deliverables are achieved. This position will be the primary liaison between the outside Sales organization and our Development and Products teams. Therefore, the Director will represent the Sales team in important internal meetings, participate in key decisions, and work with Development management to establish & adjust the priority of projects. A crucial component of this position is the ability to understand the company’s products, the customers’ needs and how they relate.
Examples of other responsibilities include: Coordinate contract review with relevant departments. Work with Marketing Dept. to create sales and marketing tools. Provide customer feedback to Product Mgmt for incorporation in product roadmaps. Work with Finance to generate useful reports. Organize semi-annual Sales meetings.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 7+ years sales, project management, and/or business development experience in the mobile software applications/services industry.
- Strong knowledge of cellular and mobile application software markets and ability to represent the company’s software solutions with confidence.
- Sufficient technical background to be comfortable explaining company’s client and server architecture.
- Demonstrated the ability to function effectively within a highly competitive market and to consistently provide product successes.
- Must be very hands-on, and willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done, including creation and maintenance of power point presentations.
- Willing and able to travel as position requires, estimated up to 10%.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred.
